Day Out With People

The Aloha State

British Columbian photographer Alanna Govenlock recently took a trip to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Hawaii’s nickname in the USA is the “Aloha State’, because the word ‘Aloha’ is one of the most commonly used words in Hawaiian Language. Based on the context, Aloha can mean ‘hello’, ‘welcome’, ‘love’, ‘best wishes’ or even ‘goodbye’. View as Alanna says ‘Aloha’ to Hawaii in this #DayOutWithPeople photo series…

We went looking for some serious leisure time and found it on this little sucluded beach.

The Lennon’s proved to be the perfect travel companion as they packed light and cleaned up real easy.

The shoes made sure sea creatures didn’t touch us.

We spent our days baking in the sun and meeting local people.

Untill next time Hawaii…
